William Andrew Finlay Stewart is an artist living on Dish With One Spoon Territory.

The Dish With One Spoon is a treaty between the Anishinaabe, Mississaugas and Haudenosaunee that bound them to share the territory and protect the land. Subsequent Indigenous Nations and peoples, Europeans and all newcomers, have been invited into this treaty in the spirit of peace, friendship and respect.


He lives in the city of Toronto, Ontario, and holds a BFA from OCAD University in Sculpture and Installation and Integrated Media.


He has shown nationally and internationally, including the Art Gallery of Ontario, and Toronto's Nuit Blanche and Luminato festivals. He helped run the the year-long Artists' Newsstand project at Chester subway station, and is part of the team that organizes the Long Winter series of festivals.
